I dont have children so I might be wrong but shouldnt be your first goal as a parent your child is happy and ready to face life and if your child is gay or a girl who wants to be a boy so be it?

I agree. If you don't accept your child for who they are then you can say goodbye to a life long friendship. It's akin to saying, you WILL play tennis, oh you don't like tennis, too bad!! It's embarrassing and frustrating to say the least. Thanks for commenting.
