Lots of borrowing in the private sector too, with skyrocketing student loans and all that. Meanwhile wages are ever-stagnant. The elites don't seem to realize that their massive investments aren't going to pay off if the consumer base doesn't have the disposable income to prop up the whole thing. We're probably going to see a depression start sometime in the coming decade, either one or two market crashes from now, and it will look a lot like the Great Depression from an economic standpoint.

Yep, you are correct. Most people don't understand that an economy only works when the majority of people are earning and spending currency. It is always the middle class that needs to earn and spend the most, when the middle class starts to vanish due to money hoarding by the wealthy the economy starts slowly dying... and no amount of money printing and debt creation will solve this issue...
