how hard can it be?

Local politics has tainted my rosy outlook with a chilly, cynical grey. How frustrating to see people who accept the honor of leadership but can't be bothered rising to the role. And more, the electorate who can't be bothered to defend their expectations. Personally, I am certain we can all do better - a theory I hope to prove.
