How Blockchain Is Destroying Socialism

in #politics6 years ago (edited)

It is not a coincidence that as blockchain solutions and their user bases are growing, European socialist governments are ramping up legislature simultaneously, in attempts to getting a hold of taxable crypto revenues. Closing down loopholes to tighten the control grid over European citizens and their assets, has been an ongoing and increasingly severe process for past decades. Many Europeans that experienced living behind the iron curtain pre 1989, are saying that the narrowing of personal and economic freedoms enforced by the EU has now surpassed what they witnessed during soviet times.

What the German government has now revealed it has planned for its unemployed welfare recipients though, will bring Maoist China onto the scale, if we want to compare communist politics.

Since the so called Agenda 2010 was put into place by former chancellor and social democrat Gerhard Schröder in early 2000, Germany's welfare system was reformed and benefit recipients had to apply under a new system called Hartz4.

Hartz4 made it easier for the government to interfere into peoples life's and enforce more regulation on Germany's poorest, with random bank account check ups and payment deductions for failure to comply with the authorities.

The Government has now revealed it will enact a new law by the name "Hartz IV Teilhabechancengesetz", which translates to "participants opportunity law". This new law will force welfare recipients into 5 year employment contracts, with an employer contracted by the government. With a refund of 85% of the workers salary and social insurance by the government, the employer will basically get free workforce.

The welfare recipient will have to undergo strict inspections by the welfare authorities and authorities will be able to interfere into the recipients private life much more than regulations allowed it by old legislature. How fancy the German politicians may brand and market this new policy to the public, it is de facto forced labor.

How does the blockchain tie into this?

Quite simply what this new law shows is that the government will not allow anybody to cash in welfare checks any longer, without recipients consenting to full surveillance and total control by the government.

The reason for these drastic new policies the German government is about to apply is quite clearly the Blockchain.

Solutions such as Steemit allow people to generate income online and anonymously and thereby undermining socialist government's control. As a Matter of fact the entire socialist ideology is not compatible with decentralization per se, and socialism will not be able to sustain itself when people become independent from the state. Therefore we will see welfare legislature across the world becoming more and more strict in socialist countries, as Blockchains become more popular. The only option socialism has left to make sure people on welfare do not use blockchains to make money, is by forcing them to work in a day job keeping people away from computers.
