UN Troops Chicago....??!

According to the Chicago Tribune, one of their county commissioners decided to fly to New York and meet with the appropriate people for getting "peacekeeping" troops into Chicago.

Now, none of this will actually happen. IMHO anyway. There are way too many obstacles to get through before blue helmets would ever actually got on the streets of any town in the US. It does however show the intent and nature of the so called officials that get elected. I suspect this may be a test of public opinion, just to see how many object and to what degree they object.

It's a sad day in America that we even have to have a conversation like this. Be aware, be informed, be thinking. It won't be tomorrow but there will come a day when this story will be fulfilled. The mindset that believes the UN should patrol streets of cities in this nation NEVER EVER gives up.
