RE: Zionists - The Jews and governments! Why do people blame Only the Jews?

Indeed it is, though without the conversations, nothing can be achieved, and whilst society is heading towards people not willing to listen to a differing view, no new ideas can formulate from two or 3 differing perspectives, a tough task indeed.

Sort:

This is where the word "ideology" comes in handy. If used correctly, the term allows people to discuss the effects of the ideas behind the system without attacking the people.

The idea that a group is a chosen people leads to conflicts doesn't say anything about the people in the group.

The term "ideology" was coined by a man name Antoine Destutt de Tracy while he was imprisoned by the Jacobins during the French Revolution. He defined "ideology" as the science of ideas and thought the National Assembly should be discussing ideas rather than chopping off heads as Robespierre was doing the in the Reign of Terror.

Napoleon used hatred of ideologues a key part of his rise to power. The ideologues were the people who wanted to discuss ideas. The way that Napoleon got us to hate the term is somewhat interesting.

It is one of those ironic things: The term "ideology" was created as an attempt to start conversations. Hatred of ideologues was created as a mechanism to stop conversations. Today we associate the terms "ideology" and "ideologue" with intransigence.

That is one of the best comments I have ever had, you will go far on here my friend.
