Election day

It's election day today in Bulgaria. For the third time this year. During a pandemic.

And there are queues in front of the polling stations. Much longer than ever.

It may turn out that the turnout of Bulgarians today is the highest in the last few years, the last decades.
Because everyone is already fed up. By all.

But do these many people, young and old, know that practically nothing depends on them?
I think the election is one of the biggest and most brutal experiments being done with the masses.
An experiment that shows every time how brainless people are.

I will never cease to marvel at the faith and hope of peoples with a totalitarian past, when the children of those prominent totalitarian leaders and party leaders are also in power today, only altering their party names including words like "democratic" and "change."
How can change be expected from the same people or their children? And how does one expect someone to save them, to think about them, to fix their lives, to give them a little bigger pensions, to save them from hunger and misery, when the parents of all these people fighting for power now, have previously killed or sent the nation's intelligentsia to concentration camps?
