The Intercept writes hit piece on Wikileaks

in #politics7 years ago

Recently The Intercept ran an article about how Wikileaks was biased, showing internal messages. But Suzie Dawson shows how they manipulated information, in order to twist the meaning of the qoutes; and thus twist the narrative.

Was very disappointed to see this from the intercept, their content is normally quite enjoyable especially with regards to issues like wikileaks and intelligence. I can't imagine Greenwald agrees with this article.

Whether he likes or agrees with it or not, he knew from day one what he was getting involved in...he (and all of the journalists at The Intercept) knew very well of the connections Pierre Omidyar has with the intelligence agencies.

Fair point, very disappointing.

Wow.. I can't believe this was even allowed on the Intercept. It's just pure garbage. Citing the ADL and SPLC? They are so self-interested in promoting fearmongering, they can't be taken as a legit source. Those organizations are a joke. Anyone who has seen Yoav Shamir's "Defamation" documentary would know this. @theouterlight

It's funny how you mention how Hillary's expression at the balloons makes her look like an alien took over her body. Every time I see that clip, all I can think of is Donald Sutherland at the conclusion of 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'.

"BALLOONS!!!"

Thanks Ed, and it’s good to see you on Steemit.
I don’t expect journalists to publish what I want to hear, but I expect better of the Intercept. I’m surprised at the Intercept for publishing this and wonder what editorial influence Pierre Omidyar has (Owner of parent company First Look Meida)
The fact that the ‘nothing-story’ was twisted by the obvious omission is worrying, and will probably tarnish my view of everything they publish in the future.
Oh, (((()))) I think is the symbol for Neo Nazi Talking Points.

Classic Ed. The last 3 minutes had me in stitches. "The world dodged a bullet there" Keep up the great work
