Poloniex: waiting for withdrawal approval for over a week.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I feel like polo is another gox. I even created a ticket and they sent me the automated email but have not gotten back to me manually. So essentially they are holding 2.5 of my Bitcoin hostage. I do have a 7k withdrawal limit but it was under that amount. Any information or suggestions are appreciated. And another thing this is not a panic sell lol.
