From Mt.Gox to Poloniex
When I started trading cryptos in Mt.Gox it was a new obsession, hearing the pings on the loud speaker while I made my coffee across my studio, was music to my ears especially if it was a high pitched ping.. It was a simple time with 1 crypto on the market and few of us making moves.
Talk of LTC made my eyes greener when I saw that something more affordable that could lead me to an even more promising future and there was some chatter suggesting that MT.GOX could be hosting LTC on its platform but before I knew it MT.Gox had fallen victim to what I would best describe as an anomaly from the darkness.
I was lucky to have already shifted my holdings out when I noticed some inconsistency in the trades a few weeks earlier. Cryptsy was my new found home for trading with a portfolio that was vast and exciting I was deeply immersed and invested. I had seen the rise of Quark coin and the explosion of DARK coin with the sudden surge of hundreds of coins coming on to the scene every day on www.coinmarketcap.com a resource that is crucial to any trader or crypto enthusiast.
Greed is your best friend and worst enemy with cryptos and discipline is very hard to keep close as there is no sleep, no rules and no one to call on but yourself in crypto. I was foolish to think that cryptsy was safe and to keep most of my holdings on there was a mistake that cost me a lot and I want my mistake to be a lesson for all to not trust these trading platforms as a place to keep your holdings but a place to potentially lose them in the long run. Get in trade and get out is my rule.

Cryptocurrency is somewhat addictive! Seeing some of those bargain coins pop prompted me to start mining one (Bytecoin) on my phone, and next paycheck I'll be buying too!
