RE: Poloniex has re-enabled STEEM deposits and withdrawals
Also, HitBTC has enabled too. I wonder what happened to these exchanges in regards to transfer technicalities. We need STEEM/USDT in these exchanges, it will help STEEM traders, investors and users. It is not quite convenient to trade or acquire STEEM with BTC. For example, if someone orders STEEM at $1.15 with BTC ($4000), his order will not be filled since BTC has dropped to $3500 though STEEM has dropped to $1.15 too. Therefore, I request all STEEM users to make support requests to Poloniex, Bittrex and HitBTC to add USDT/STEEM pair. Overall, it will be a boost for STEEM since it will be less affected by BTC/ETH's big swings and bring in more volumes.
why USDT if you have SBD ? Both are pegged to 1 Dollar. All kind of pairs would be boost the liquidity for sure. But trading on steem blockchain with USDT is not possible.
Though SBD is pegged, it fluctuates too at its peak $2 to $0.85. USDT is for external traders in the exchanges (Poloniex or Bittrex) who want to be in or out. When somebody in steemit, they can trade within steemit market with STEEM/SBD, that is a different issue.
