The vision of the Health Innovation Forum HIF

A meeting where health is transformed

On January 29, 2026, the first edition of the Health Innovation Forum HIF officially came to an end. It was two intense days, more than 100 participants, 130 speakers, 30 moderators and five simultaneous arenas discussing something that no longer belongs to the future, but to the real transformation of health.

Held in Goyaña, Brazil, the event established itself as a meeting point between doctors, clinical engineers, hospital managers, startups, researchers, investors and specialists who are redesigning the way health care happens, both in the public and private sectors.

The HIF made it clear that quality medicine does not depend only on good professionals, but on an entire ecosystem functioning in harmony. Infrastructure, architecture, hospital, clinical engineering, data interoperability, sustainability and artificial intelligence were discussed as inseparable parts of the same system.

The democratization of health systems.

One of the central themes was the democratization of robotic surgery, not as a technological luxury, but as a tool that needs to reach more hospitals, more regions and more patients with safety, efficiency and real impact.

Another strong point was the vision of the 100% digital hospital, environments where interconnected interoperable technologies reduce errors, increase patient safety, improve clinical decision making and make resource management processes much more efficient.

Artificial intelligence appeared not as a distant promise, but as a concrete reality, already impacting diagnoses, management, costs, hospital flows and the way in which care is delivered. During the forum, leaders in the sector reinforced that it is not about replacing professionals, but rather giving them better tools so that doctors, nurses and managers can make better decisions today, not in 10 years.

The Hospital of the future was presented as a framework for this transformation, a new health care model, smarter, more technological, more sustainable and, above all, more patient-centered. In conclusion, artificial intelligence, robotics and digital systems promise to revolutionize health.
