Portugal on steemit :)

Hi everybody, my name is Romeu Gomes. I'm a portuguese from the beautiful city of Lisbon. On this first post, specially to those that haven't had the chance to get to know my country and my hometown, i would like to invite you all to come and visit us. Lisbon is a city of culture, of history, of fun, of beauty. A city filled with good, friendly and welcoming people.
For all you foddies out there, Lisbon is a must. I know most of you have never heard about our cuisine, but i promisse you, you'll never forget it once you try it. We are home of the best fish and seafood on the world. Our pastery is amazing. Recipies hundreds of years old, kept and passed on by nuns that would develop them on their covents (conventual pastery).
If you like wine, then we are the place to come. Portugal is home to the river Douro, the oldest demarcated and regulated wine region in the world, declared in 1756 and made a World Heritage by UNESCO in 2001.
And the chesses, my god, don't get me started on the chesses... (Dream big things, saveur the little ones)
