The true spirituality: Pray to the Most High, asking that he direct your steps on the path of truth. Ben Sira 37:15

The Bible, with its wisdom, teaches the path to the true spirituality. And this is very important because spirituality is not a game of masks and appearances, blind faith without any basis in works is a path to nowhere. People who pray a lot but just do things carelessly, precariously, cannot advance in matters of the spirit. This is why some prophets pointed out: "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings" Hosea 6:6.
If spirituality consisted simply of complying with rules or imperatives, and practicing certain virtues, then everyone would be happy and wisdom as science and gift would have no meaning, and this is not the case in reality; in a world where values and rights are constantly discussed, happiness is an increasingly unattainable commodity, that is the truth. To cling to the simplifications offered by the modern world, such as the value of love, is a serious mistake; spirituality is something much deeper, and reality constantly demonstrates this.
This is why the sapiential literature offers another perspective on spirituality, and that is the path of truth. This is why the master of wisdom Ben Sira expressed in his book: "Pray to the Most High, asking that he direct your steps on the path of truth" Ben Sira 37:15.
The path of truth is to be precise and exact in all actions; in other words, true spirituality is that which seeks the best possible decisions, knowing that it is the grace of God that guides this fact, prudence as a virtue, that is, the use of reason, cannot achieve this goal. Hence the need for the gift of counsel: listen, meditate with intuition and inspiration, and decide with spiritual discernment. The goal of the counsel is the truth, the counsel is precision and accuracy. And this is where men enter into the realm of wisdom. Because wisdom, as a gift bestowed by the creator, seeks to control the negative effects of the ethical laws of the universe, such as the law of reaping and sowing: "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind" Hosea 8:7.
Only those who embark on the path of truth, and therefore the path of wisdom, are those who understand the true depth of the problems and make the most excellent decisions accordingly, as Solomon did when he was presented with two prostitutes who were disputing the custody of a child, or as when Hezekiah, whose kingdom was besieged by Sennacherib, emerged triumphant.
