During Class, My Teacher Found Out Her Friend Died From The Las Vegas Shooting. My Prayers Go Out To The Vegas Victims.
Today was not a normal day, it was rather depressing. I started my day off normal, went to my locker, picked up my book, and went to my first-period class.
We started off our day normal, at least for the first half of the class. Everything seemed normal. Until in the middle of class, my teacher went to the class next door to talk to the teacher in the other room, and I guess somehow she found out that her friend died in the las vegas shooting, and she came back into the class from the other room crying, and just upped and left the classroom and said she has to leave.
At first, when she came in the door, It looked like she was crying, but after she got to her desk, I got a closer look and realized she was crying. Some of the other kids in the class didn't know what was going on. It was depressing. I mean think about it, that person who passed away from the shooting could have been anyone. Loved ones, friends, family, anyone. Anyone could have been the one to lose their life to a crazy shooter.
We have to be grateful for those around you and those you love, even the people you hate. Because maybe you don't like a person, but they are someone's family and someone loves them. Everyone's lives matter. Don't waste your time hating. Love and treat those around you with love, because you may never know when your last day may be.
My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the las vegas shooting families and victims. Stay strong.
