Positive Pregnancy Affirmation Day 5

To have a life growing inside a woman’s womb is the best feeling ever, the experience is unexplainable, it’s unique, it’s amazing. Every womans experience differ from one another, some women takes it easy, they can work and travel and do things as normal as if nothing is going on inside. Some women finds it hard to eat, to walk to work and even have a good night sleep.

I usually encounter “some” men who thinks that pregnancy is easy, that it’s just a natural thing that just happens without understanding how a woman copes with physical, psychological and emotional changes for 40 long weeks. I’m not stereotyping, I would just like to spread awareness about women empowerment that no man should underestimate. It is usually coming from men who do not have a wife or a partner and hd not gone through even the beginning of fatherhood. Again, I am not talking in general; again there are some. Nothing against them, people have different perspective and this is just a wake up call.

In this time of pregnancy the ones that we are holding on to is our partners, our spouse. Though as a wife I know that my husband still do not completely understand. What matters most is men knows how to respect pregnant women because they’ve got a mother, a sister and in the future will have their own wives to bear their own flesh and blood. Respect is the key.

As an expecting mom, we must believe deep in out hearts that our body is made to give birth and to sustain life. It is big to internatlize about trusting our body and its capability to give birth. Our body knows the process as it naturally happens, life is growing and we just have to let the time pass by praying in faith and have extra care physically br ensuring everything we do and we take will not cause any harm to our unborn child.
