Arsenal 2 Burnley 1

Arsenal overcame Burnley to make it 2 wins from 2. Both recognised forwards scored for the gunners and Dani Ceballos made both goals on his Premier League debut for Arsenal.

Aston Villa 1 Bournemouth 2

Josh King stood out and scored an early penalty to give Bournemouth control of the game first half. Aston Villa performed much better in the second half but it wasn't enough to stop them losing at home.

Brighton 1 West Ham 1

Brighton may feel like they lost two points in this one as Chicharito scored against the run of play before an excellent strike by Leandro Trossard leveled things up.

Everton 1 Watford 0

Bernard scored a cracker to give Everton a deserved win at Goodison Park but Watford did I have chances which they should have taken.

Norwich collected their first win of the season again Newcastle who have started poorly. Man of the match was undoubtedly The Canaries hat-trick hero, Teemu Pukki

Southampton 1 Liverpool 2

Liverpool made it two from two but were made to work hard for their win by a confident Southhampton side. Sadio Mane returned to the Premier League and was the difference between the teams.

Game of the weekend saw City and Spurs share the spoils as VAR was again called into action denying City a late winner.

Sunday 18th August

Sheffield United 1 Crystal Palace 0

Crystal Palace controlled the game but it was newly promoted Sheffield United that came away with all three points.

Both teams remain without a win so far this season as the points were shared at Stamford Bridge.

Monday 19th August

Wolves 1 Man United 1

A game of two halves with Man United controling the first and scoring through Anthony Martial. Wolves played much better in the second period and leveled the tie with a fine strike from Neves. Pogba had the chance to put Manchester ahead again but missed from the spot.

Llaneros FC hold on to 1st place captaining Lacazette who earned 16 points this game week. Their final total could have been higher if Moura (6 points) wasn't left on the bench.

The Aston Villa Vs Bournemouth game is what shocked me. I tipped that game to be draw but Bournemouth overran Aston Villa.

The fact that Salah is the most captained makes me worry about the Arsenal match.
Club allegiance won't allow me captain our opponent so I went with Harry Kane
