Steemit Christmas Meet Up, My Experience.

I have been on Steemit for only 5days and I tell you the love the people on here radiate is enough motivation to stay on steemit. @samstickkz thank you for introducing me to this awesome platform.

Today (16th of December,2017) was our Christmas Meet Up and I tell you people who didn't attend missed alot. I got to learn alot about steemit; heard more explanations on steem, steem power which gets you more payouts on posts and I also heard some words for the first time like block chain which is like an online bank and with an advantage over normal banks as transactions are not done secretly. Heard of minnows (I am ) and dolphins too. I learnt a whole lot there.
I also had the opportunity of meeting great people I have been hearing of like @ejemai who talked about things we should avoid on steemit like being flagged for plagarism.
@tojukaka talked on patience and consistency. I felt like he was speaking directly to me because my introductory post didn't do so well I felt bad.
@evelyiroh (she's so beautiful and shy) talked about dropping quality comments on people's post.
You already feeling the impact of the meet up right?
@alisonudeme celebrated her belated birthday with us and i got to meet alot of lovely people like @ishotz (too fine), @xpressng, @lordrayden (shy namie) and alot of other very awesome people.
To add to the joy of this meetup @samstickkz sent some steem to me because I attempted a question and this lovely guys helped me come second place in a contest. Today has gone into my records of "one of the best days in 2017). I love you all.
