Steem Social Media Blast Day is an initiative by @TimCliff who is one of the top witnesses on Steem Blockchain currently holding strong at #2 rank. Promoting Steem on various social media websites and other blogging websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Medium, Reddit, Quora etc. was planned and done exceptionally well by various Steemians out there. Thanks to Oracle-D and Promo-Steem To be honest, some of the folks killed it on Twitter. Even though we created a lot of buzz and this might show some good impact on the prize of STEEM in the coming few days, we learned so many aspects of Digitally Market the blockchain. As Tim suggested, this is an ongoing activity and most people should keep on doing it. Next time we will come up with a better executable plan and more unique ways to promote STEEM targeting Investors, Developer, Artists, Video Content Creators etc.

• Social media marketing plays a very important role in success of any Blockchain Project. STEEM is the only one with such a huge active community. We can easily over power the internet through our constant efforts.
• Number of people participated was great considering it was a first time so many different communities coming along to support the initiative. This helped us to reach to the next level of this game since we do not want this to create a "pump and dump" scenario.

• Social media marketing is pure science. It plays on the numbers. The more, the merrier! If we get enough people to talk about STEEM, we can easily go trending on twitter. That can serve as a great entry point for us in the mainstream blockchain space.
• We have to look at the paid methods too since @utopian-io has launched advertisements also probably on Facebook with decent results. They even had a bounty task open for anyone who can advertise using Inorganic methods.

It was a great experience and I also wrote an article about it - Steem Gets Vocal On Other Social Media Websites!. It was later shared by the official twitter account of Steem i.e. STEEM NETWORK. In short, an amazing experience and I will keep on taking part in such initiatives. Cheers!
