As the usage of mobile phones in Ghana increases, so does the market for digital money services. Many Ghanaians and Africans lack any formal bank account.

An estimated eighty percent (80%) of Ghanaians are not part of the banking population. Hence conduct their transactions outside the banking sector with no access to financial services. Products like “mobile money,” that enable safe and secure money transfers without the use of a bank account, could have a major impact on this unserved segment of the population. Mobile money gives anyone with a mobile phone the ability to transfer money, make cash payments and conduct other financial transactions over the phone.

How Will This New Innovation Help Africa?

With lots of mobile phone subscribers in Africa, the potential market for these new services is significant. Mobile money presents certain advantages for African without bank access. Transaction costs are reasonable compared to that of financial services for the poor, especially those in remote areas where financial services seldom exist. Mobile money saves the cost of travel and time spent visiting the nearest town to access financial services. Notably, mobile money provides people with a way to transfer money safely and keep (or even increase) their savings.

If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.

~Albert Einstein

The Solution

Critical thinking is very essential in customer satisfaction. The ability to understand the logical connection between facts is needed to achieve customer needs. But it’s not only the ability to think rationally. In fact, it is an ability to think independently and to question the information you are given.

As an advocate of financial liberation for the people, the @accra community foresaw the challenges new people we voluntarily onbord on #STEEMIT face. We listened to the plea of the Ghanaian community and therefore created our wonderful yensesa to satisfy the populace. We wanted to solve the problem of ridiculous charges as well as eliminate multiple middlemen in the process of steem/sbd withdrawal. Yensesa is direct and the fastest so far in Africa (5-30minutes or sometimes less for fiat exchange upon a successful request). In addition to this,we wanted to make the STEEMIT PLATFORM enticing for our people. We needed to show people how to make money without any difficulties. It was mandatory to solve the withdrawal problems. Easy and faster it should be!. And we believe so much that basic income should be a necessary right for everyone. I know @ned will thank us later for this great services as we promote his work massively in Africa.

For this reason we at @yensesa never take anything for granted. If we assume that something we hear or think is true, we forget that a person has limited perspectives and we might be wrong. For this reason, @yensesa will extend her wings to the rest of Africa.
