Thanks to the London Crypto Currency Show Main Contributors
You have all heard that the London Crypto Currency Show was a huge success for the Steem Blockchain. I won't go too much into the details of the event as you can read numerous blogs about it on the LCCS tag.
Credit @colossus39
We had almost 50 steemians visit including some of the biggest projects on the Steem blockchain.
The following is to give credit to the amazing steemians who contributed on the day. Many more attended and it was great to see you all there!
THE PRESENTATIONS
Great presentations were given by the following projects and representatives of those projects that attended:
- APPICS (@mrs.steemit, @soldier, @thehipsterguru and @lisadang)
- UTOPIAN-IO (@elear, @techslut & @wehmoen)
- ESTEEM (@dunsky)
- STACH (@anarcotech in place of @ejemai)
- STEEM-PRESS (@howo & @fredrikaa)
@allasyummyfood also gave a fantastic presentation, along with organizing the after party!
THE HELPERS
The team had help from @adetorrent & @ura-soul in setting up the stand, @cryptocurator & @redrica for being our behind the scenes fixers and the talented @ashtv, @colossus39 & @rod.crisafulli who helped us out massively with videography and photography.
THERE IN SPIRIT
@ejemai, What a guy, he contributed with his passion, presentation and spirit, but he could not make it due to forces outside of his control!
OUR DESIGNER
I would like to give a really big thank you to @creatocracy for designing our exhbition stand to an absolute perfection, it went in right first time thanks to your expertise and we owe you a lot for this!
THE PROMO-STEEM CORE TEAM
Finally @stephenkendal came up with the idea for the show, made sure everything went well on the day, among many other things and @anarcotech and I moderated on the main stage along with making sure everything went smooth on the day and getting everything ready prior to the event. Our team also provided expertise to the organizers of the event during and leading up to the the day, which was paramount to the success of the show!
I will pinch a few pics from other's blogs (giving credit of course) as I didn't have much time to take pics during the day.
A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR PROJECTS AND CONTRIBUTORS
The projects will all leave with highly professional tangible media that they can use in the future. These videos will be issued by @ashtv over the coming days. They include:
- video of their presentation in front of a live crowd
- video of their 3 minute interview
- video of their 2 minute pitch for their project.
They also had a chance to show case their projects in front of crowds of interested investors and network with the best in the blockchain business
All other attendees had a great chance to network with steemians, and meet new projects, and potential business opportunities in the Blockchain industry!
THE SHOW ORGANIZERS
The London Crytpo Currency show organizers were able to rest calm that they had enough expertise from our team to moderate their expert panels, along with a great energy and guaranteed enthusiastic, passionate crowd at the event from you steemians. Due to this, we are hopeful that we will be working with them in their October Cyrpto Currency Show in London as well, except with an improved show for all, having improved on our lessons from this time around!
There was even a bit of RENT A STEEM CROWD going on there at points! ;)
So, I am sure you agree everyone that contributed and attended received HUGE value from the event!
SO HOW DID WE DO IT?
It was a massive effort from the people involved, so instead of telling you what I thought of the event, I will telll you about what went into it from the start through to execution in my next blog!
How to support #Promo-Steem
If you like the work of #promo-steem and want to support to help grow our steemit community, we have set up a great system leveraging the steem blockchain to support promoters, here are a few things you can do to support the voluntaryist promoters who are out there working hard to promote our wonderful steemit platform, which in turn, raises the the value of all of our STEEM and improves the quality of peoples lives immensely for doing valuable work:
Join the https://steemauto.com/ curation trail for @steem-ambassador - Add a bit of your voting power to reward promoters! See joining instructions HERE
Delegate SP to @steem-ambassador - If you have the means, please consider delegating some Steem Power so we can incentivize promotional work. 85% of the curation rewards that @steem-ambassador earns will be returned to the delegator each quarter based on their share of the overall delegation, so this is an active investment too. @steem-ambassador will receive 0% of the curation rewards. The remaining 10% goes to the ambassadors and 5% to the best promoters! DELEGATE HERE
Follow our work, and get involved - Watch out for upcoming @steem-ambassador posts and give your approval to the Steem Ambassadors coming online.
Curate on posts tagged with #promo-steem or visit @promo-steem to see the highest quality promotional resteems - The more people offering upvotes to the promoters, the more attractive it becomes to do high quality promotional work...which remember helps EVERYONE here!
Do some promotional work yourself - blog about it using the #promo-steem tag, which is one of the fastest growing tags on the platform! There are so many ways you can do it, and we have a vibrant community who want to get stuck in with you!
Visit www.promo-steem.com for inspiration, ideas, resources and communication for promoting steem.
Please blog about the support you are giving and we will reward well with upvotes ;)
If anyone is in any doubt about this guys passion for the STEEM blockchain, what it can do to change the world, and his tireless work, then hear these words....
I know how much he puts into this project. I have spent hours on the phone/skype discussing with him the very fine details of things. He holds me to account, and is a balancing influence when I get a little too anarchic. He is regularly still working in the wee small hours of the morning. His knowledge of the blockchain, of cryptocurrencies in general, and his very realistic, pragmatic wisdom of what this community is about cannot be underestimated.
@starkerz is without a doubt the most immense guy I've had the pleasure to meet in many years, and I am pleased to be part of a solid team with him.
It's just such a shame for him that he's not as good looking, charming, witty and smart as me...... :) :) :)
Great work man!!!! What you did over the weekend was legendary. We could not have got that stand up without you figuring it out for a start!!!!
14 stone mate 14 stone!
Cheers fella! very much appreciate these words man! Awesome working with you!
It ain't what you've got, it's having 14 Stone behind it to ram it home!
I am of course referring to my public speaking. Im just miffed because I didn't get a shot that made me look like a kind of James Bond/Crypto Billionaire like you did.
Hold my beer 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂@anarcotech
"...The banker is offering £15,000 for the invisible box ......deal or no deal...?"
I was think more when I was 18...honest 😂🤣😂🤣🙄🙄🙄
Awesome, awesome! It was a huge success, so many people were there!)
You guys did a great job and you can see the passion from the other Steemies on the day. So much positive energy all around!
Much respects for the credits and glad you like the pic enough to use it 😉 dont be upset that @anarotech now looks more of a villian than you do 😂🤣😂🤣😂 note quite sure if I got the Bond bit though 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤔🤔🤔
:)))
Seems like Londoncryptocurrency show was a mini Steem Meetup hosting some of the amazing projects and steemians around the world. It's all over the trending, hot section and my feed. :-D Commendable job by @promo-steem team and other participants to put up a great show and promote Steem Blockchain. :-) Hope to see more such events happening in different parts of the globe!
Thanks man! much appreciate it! Looking forward to working with you on some graphics going forwards!
Same here @starkerz. I will contribute in anyway I can. :)
I'm really impressed by the effort you all put in to organise the event and you made it look like everything went like clockwork. Well done all of the Steemians that turned up on the day either to help or to watch. All the teams that promoted their projects did really well. Efforts like these will pay off in the long run. Thank you .
Thank you very much!!
You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It should be receive instead of recieve.Awesome work!!
Hello @starkerz
You guys did well indeed. Many blog posts on this, constituent an eloquent confirmation of the great efforts you guys put into this to ensure that it was a huge success.
Thanks promo-steem team for doing steem honour at the just concluded LCCS. We all are proud of you guys.
@eurogee of @euronation community

Congratulations @starkerz for the success of the Londoncryptocurrency show. It was such a successful massive event which was influenced largely by the togetherness that describes steemit. Steemians world over are really proud of the effort you guys input to make this event like no other. Thanks for supporting promo-steem too. We are moving beyond the limits set for us in numbers because of the support you guys are putting for creating wide awareness of steemit.
Thanks man! keep up your good work too!
Good job guys.
Someone asked an interesting question before. Is there any support that you get from @ned? He didn't mention events like this one so far.
zero
Have you ever been in contact with him about your initiative?
I haven't really thought about it before.
Yes I have met with him personally in steemfest. It’s ok. We are going to set something up that brings investment in from outside of steem so that we do not rely on whales for our survival. Although, delegation is always nice, we only seem to have a few people who are interested to delegate. Even though we give an 85% curation reward return, with 10% going to the Steem Ambassadors and 5% going to the best promoters. And 0% going to us
I wasn't trying to imply it wasn't OK, I was simply wondering.
I doesn't feel like I have enough power to make an impact curating. Maybe showing some stats or trying to address such doubts in general would encourage people more?
