Has anyone else noticed a difference in #Steem?
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that #Steem is somewhat different?
Following on from the recent Hard Fork, I have since noticed that the engagement in the #Steem Community is noticeably different and is a bit like it was in the good old days.
I was wondering if anyone else thought the same.
I guess it's hard to explain
It's hard to explain it, but it's a feeling I have from deep within.
A gut feeling that things are different and in a good way.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has also felt a change within the Community.
Is #Steem maturing?
Is it that #Steem is maturing that is giving me the feeling that something is different?
I would be interested what you think.

hehehhe! well if you go on twitter and you filter by #steem the only posts you will find are from Hive people besides yours... indeed steem is something different but not necessary good.
Shame on you, how can you insinuate there's anything shady afoot? Steemy has a bright future. It's not like the Top 20 witnesses are bribed by Sun or anything...
@Blockbrothers and @Steemchiller lost their standing in the consensus witnesses because they dared oppose glorious Emperor Sun's freezing of funds owned by the ousted witnesses. He smote those terrible purveyors of property rights and knocked them far down the witness list! That will teach them that NO ONE on the Steemy brocktrain may oppose dear leader without severe repercussions!
To arms, comrades! The proletariat must arise against the "hackers" and drive Steemy to a glorious future, lead by a noble, centralizing clown-god who doesn't even have sense to bring a charger to an AMA after a multi-million dollar purchase!

I have been promoting #Steem on twitter for over 3 years now and besides from the odd tweet or two there has never really been an active participation from the #Steem Community on there as with other Blockchain Communities I am working with.
As for measuring the value of a Blockchain by the number of likes and retweets, it means nothing.
Besides, I think the Hive Community will have more on their plate to worry about down the line than how they are doing on twitter.

I hope so but may be quarantine period is the reason behind this change. Anyhow pleasant change and hopefully it will help to give boom. Let's hope for the best @stephenkendal
Yes you could say that as today it's all about the whales and the guys with big bags. But for us, the small guys, its the same. I have not yet even logged into the new chain but if this circle jerk still continues, I shall give up, as I had done 2 years back. And looks like the new chain is the same.

years of hardwork got wasted the main asset which is the community is not even united so sad to see this
Biggest stakeholders have moved over, dapps are moving over, communities are moving over, developers have moved over, the core community has moved over...
Yes, I guess it is a whole new Steem of leftovers who will soon wake up to the reality that Steem died with hardfork 23. In 3 months, when we will have sold all our Steem, Sun will own 50% of stake or the price will have crashed a lot.
Anyways, long live the new leader :D and thanks for his marketing genius. We could not have done it without him.
