I definitely agree with the psychology behind biting your lips. I often do it because I have generalized anxiety disorder, and this is one of my coping mechanisms when I am reaching one of my overload points. I use mindfulness to bring myself back in order to stop chewing my lips off of my face. Deep breathing and grounding myself, bring myself back to the present and stopping myself about dwelling on the past in the future, and lots of chapstick! Thank you so much for sharing this.
