Trinity of Consciousness Symbolism
Our consciousness perceives objects, events and phenomena in existence. Thoughts and emotions feedback, as internal manifestations of consciousness, to process information stimulus from our environment.
Our thoughts and emotions unite to produce our actions. We output a response as action or behavior, the external manifestation of consciousness.
To be united in consciousness requires that we think, feel and act in harmony, alignment and integrity among our own manifestations of consciousness.
This post is another multi-content-type format for your convenience: text, audio and video. I'm trying to get this information out in as many ways as possible for more people to consume it. I appreciate all the support you provide, thank you :)

First I'll start with mentioning the legend of colors which has a multiple contextual applicability. But in general for this infographic, I'm referring to it this way:
- Blue represents internal or receptive/passive and therefore feminine.
- Red represents external or active and therefore masculine.
- Green represents the unification or activated states, such as from uniting the internal blue and external - red to make green.
I've used blue, red and green before, based on the frequencies of light, where red is the lowest and blue is the highest, while green is in the middle. This is used to symbolize certain meaning through color which helps in our imagery and understanding of concepts.
Now that that's out of the way, let's begin.
Thoughts
“Unified Mind”, “One Eye” (activated) =
(Analytic/Intellect + Imaginative/Inuitive)
Internal, Cognitive, Generative Essence (internal active)
Religio-“Father” (internal ‘Masculine’) “Source”
Speech/words are external actions of internal thought.
Thoughts are where it all starts. Since thoughts are first, they are the first active and also generative state within us. Thoughts are also part of our internal unseen realm that is unique to each individual.
This is why thoughts are red because they're active, they are internal which makes them blue, and they are the first generative and manifestation essence within ourselves which makes them green.
When our thoughts are not contradictory, when we have integrated a coherent and cohesive understanding of reality, when our "left" (red) and "right" (blue) brained modalities of consciousness are not in opposition, but are harmonized in unison (green), then we have the symbolism of a "unified mind" or "one eye" present for that particular task or function we are engaged in at the time. We could be unified at one moment, yet divided another.
The green "unified mind" or "one eye" symbolism is an activated state, formed through a synthesis of our analytical and intellectual left-brain capacities, holistically integrated with our imaginative and intuitive right-brain capacities.
Thoughts are our internal cognition, the generative essence that starts everything. As such, it is both internal, but also active in that it is the active generative essence and force that gets the ball rolling.
Since this is the activated and therefore masculine symbolism, this relates to the religious symbolism of a source generative essence for creating, represented as the father or male figure. This is "God" in the Christian Trinity. We, consciousness, are the "gods" that affect, manifest, generate and create into reality. We are all creators, and symbolism is used to represent who we are. This deep self-knowledge is lost over time as people interpret symbolism, metaphor, allegory, analogy, and parable as literal.
Even before we get to physical action with our hands to create things in the world, like our source generative essence is capable of doing, we are able to express our internal thoughts through speech and words which are external actions.
“Spirit”, internal unseen realm
interlinked feedback effect to influence eachother
As mentioned, the thoughts are part of our internal unseen realm within consciousness that can be symbolically referred to as the "spirit". I've done some work on the etymology of the word "spirit", what it was created to reference, and how we reference it ourselves. The 2 demonstrable definitions I derived are that of first being a reference to consciousness, psyche, "soul", "spirit" and self as meaning the same thing, while the other secondary meaning that we use refers to goodness or morality.
The other component in the internal unseen realm of manifesting consciousness, is our emotions. In this internal unseen realm, represented through the color blue, we have a feedback process between our thoughts and emotions before we engage in the external manifestation of consciousness, which is represented through our actions and behavior, which includes speech/writing.
Emotions
“Heart”, Care, Generative (activated) =
(Positive + Negative recognition develops Care)
Internal, Affective, Receptive ‘Sacred Feminine’
Religio-“Mother” (passive ‘Feminine’) “Holy Spirit”
The “spirit” in which we do things, driving force
Emotions are in blue because they are part of the internal manifestations of consciousness, but also because they are receptive or passive and represented by the feminine. Emotions are also symbolized through the word "heart" which is used as a reference due to its location within the middle of our body.
As I mentioned before, green being the middle between blue and red, where our emotions, desires and what we care to do, good or bad, will generate a driving force within us that motivates us and eventually leads us to act. In the Trinity of Consciousness as well, emotions are in the middle between thoughts and actions, so they aptly fit the green color.
To be in the "heart", to have truer care and generate in an activated holistic capacity, means we have both the recognition of the positive and negative within ourselves and the world, which will develop our true care and concern for what is going on, leading to our motivation to learn more truth, so that we can empower ourselves to be in and position of understanding, to act in wisdom.
Emotions are internal, yet are affective instead of cognitive despite requiring cognition in order to apply meaning and valuation as an emotion. Thoughts and emotions are part of a properly functioning consciousness. But emotions are the aspect that affect us the most, which is why the study of emotions is called the affective sciences, while the study of our thoughts is part of the cognitive sciences.
Tying this back to the religious Trinity, the internal passive feminine is the religious mother figure which contrasts the internal active masculine of the religious father figure. This is represented as the "Holy Spirit" in the Christian Trinity. I mentioned briefly the etymological and demonstrable definition of "spirit" as being the internal, unseen, formless, nonphysical, metaphysical motivational generative essence of our consciousness itself. And our purpose to be more "spiritual", is to be more moral. I can get more into this another time to explain it more.
Our emotions, act as the "Holy Spirit" which moves us to do things as the driving motivational force in our lives. Our saliency towards the importance of things is how we value them which requires emotions to be involved.
Thoughts and Emotions alone are not enough. Need to engage, create, manifest, generate, act in external reality, not only internal.
Thought and emotion, unseen internal “spirit” aspects of consciousness are non-dual, non-contradictory, in non-opposition, united, harmonized, aligned w/ right, good, truth, as Unified Mind/One Eye and developed Heart-Care center, then the Wisdom of Right-Action is possible.
Thoughts and emotions alone are not enough to get things done. We need to engage, create manifest generate and act in the external objective reality not only our internal subjective reality.
Thoughts and emotions are the internal, unseen, hidden "spirit" aspects of consciousness. When they are unified in harmony, non-dual, non-contradictory and not in opposition and are aligned with what is right, good and true, as a truly "unified mind" and "one eye", with a developed "heart-care" center, then we are capable of engaging in the wisdom of right-action. Actions can be good or evil, and even contain qualities of both. We must be able to discern right from wrong more effectively as our lives progress.
Actions
Wisdom of Right-Action
External, Conative, Active ‘Sacred Masculine’
Religio-“Son” (active ‘Masculine’) “Divine Male Child” =
Wedding of “Father” (internal ‘Masculine’) + “Mother” (internal ’Feminine’)
to produce external ‘Masculine’ synthesis
Actions are the culmination, unification and synthesis of our internal expressions of consciousness (thoughts and emotions), as an external expression of consciousness (actions). What we do with what we know is how we get things done in the world.
First we are being internally, and then we are doing externally.
The goal of philosophy is about arriving at the wisdom of right-action. Philosophy means the love of wisdom. Wisdom has an internal component in being wise in understanding, in your being, but the more important wisdom is when you actually act and engage in that understanding by creating into the world based on it. The purpose for all humans is to evolve consciousness towards greater wisdom of right-action.
Actions are external, and symbolically represent the active sacred masculine, the counterpart to the receptive or passive sacred feminine. Actions are conative in terms of the scientific description as a trinity of the cognitive, affective and conative theory of mind.
In the Christian Trinity, and other Trinity's involving a father and mother that produce a divine male offspring, there is Jesus as the "son of God". "God" was the internal active masculine symbolism to represent ourselves, while the "son of God" is the external active masculine representation of ourselves.
The divine male child, is masculine and red, but also green, because actions are a generative force in the external world, as well as a unification of a man and woman to produce a child which is also a generative process. The alchemical wedding of the father (the internal masculine qualities of consciousness), and the mother (the internal feminine qualities of consciousness), harmonize and unite to produce an external masculine synthesis.
This Trinity symbolism is found in many ancient stories, legends and mythologies. The holy trinity symbolic representation is found in many literary works or artistic representations from Sumeria, Babylonia, India, Greece, Egypt, Germany, Nordic lands, and more. The trinity symbolism was used in many ways to represent different understandings. Esoteric knowledge is hidden under exoteric stories, and people forget about the original hidden meanings, where they then take the colorful exoteric story as literal reality instead.
Effects
We create effects in the world through causal actions/behaviors.
Effects/events affect us
Our actions produce effects into the world. We are all manifesting, generating and creating into reality. All of us together collectively co-create the human world around us.
As we all act and create effects and events, the world around us moves, and in turn we are affected by what happens in reality.
Unity Consciousness
internal generative manifestations + external action in the world
The green triangle represents consciousness, psyche, "soul", "spirit", self, the fifth element quintessence. As our internal generative manifestations are united and create a unified external action in the world, so too are we then engaging in a unity consciousness where our thoughts, emotions and actions do not contradict.
I think, feel, and act based on the existence of now and what has come before now, i.e. the effects manifested upon reality.
Cause and effect are central. Thought and emotion alone get nothing done in the manifested reality, but are the foundations for Right-Action.
We are to think, feel and act in unison within ourselves internally, and not be in internal opposition or conflict. But we must also think, feel and act based on the existence of what is currently in reality and what has come before. The present is created from the past, and leads us into the future.
Cause-and-effect are central in life. Thoughts and emotions alone get nothing done in the manifested reality, although they are the axiomatic causal foundations that establish and motivate our actions in the world. If we want to engage in right-action, we have to understand and care to know right from wrong, truth from falsity, in order to have the wisdom to engage in right-action.

I'm on my third time around now, listening. As I watch the infograph, I appreciate the breakdown of the colors and they way they illustrate the masculine/feminine/unity concepts behind the words and phrases in use.
Yeah true, a more deeper explanation of the color symbolism would help. But it applies in different ways depending on what is being referenced. I could use the three colors in 3 different tri-representations but it gets confusing when you mix different layers of symbolism using the same colors at each layer of different meaning. I can understand it because I devised this lol. But thanks for the feedback. I cuold break down how the three colors represent each layer of symbolism, and then it would be understood better when they merge together, such as red-left-brain and blue-right-brain simultaneously within the blue internal consciousness. That's one place where two layers merge and can confuse people.
I'm imagining a series of videos breaking this down in more detail. What I would find entertaining, perhaps, would be illustrative examples of the symbolism in question. These could be mixed in with the video so that as someone watches the video and sees the images, and hears the words, it evokes the symbolism internally and creates a more dramatic effect.
For instance, the images of trinity, father, mother, divine child. If they were to appear on the screen in a video concentrating on these aspects, it would reach down into that persons psyche through that imagery and really pound that thought home. :-)
Spoken words are powerful, but spoken words that convey emotion have the ability to move the soul.
I like the addition of video. Listening to you read it allows me to be more attentive to the detail of what you are communicating, rather than being lost in the noise of a complex infographic.
I wonder whether the narration would benefit from a more conversational style where you are explaining it to someone (imaginary or otherwise) located in the room with you.
It's a heavy subject and the whole infographic could be the subject of a series of videos, breaking it down into smaller bites.
I like this subject a lot and I'd like to see it appreciated by others.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes it's heavy, as are the other central works I put out. What are the areas you find require more clarification as a "series of videos"? The conversational style, do I have a conversation style when I even converse with others? :P But seriously, I would have to not write it out first, and just do it on the fly as an explanation, and it wouldn't be as ordered, and probably longer too hehe. Resteem if you want more people to access it ;) FB, etc. Your choice. Thanks.
I dug up an unused FB profile the other day for the sole purpose of sharing Steemit posts, and I've dusted off my Twitter account too.
I think when I'm using my eyes to watch the infographic and I can use my ears to listen, there is a nice synthesis of thought going on.
Sweet! Yes it works better for some than the reading text and going to the infographic for some, while some prefer to take the time to go back and forth themselves. Different flavor of learning hehe. Having the audio and infographic apart from the video is good to have for that extra level of control over an image instead of just a video. I'm trying to get more people to get into the info hehe!
This is great material my friend! I have been studying the Truvium methodology myself and I can too armrest that it is revelatory when it is fully comprehended! Using Trivium in our daily lives is what will elevate human consciousness!
Wow, this is going to take a while to fully process, but this post is next level. Love the multi-content format. Unusual to find what is essentially a spiritual discussion that is as ordered and rational as this. Great work!
Thanks for the feedback. Glad the work is being appreciated more :)
flagged as "disagreement on rewards"
In my subjective opinion this is not the type of content that will help steemit attract, retain, or grow a user base, nor will incentivizing it with high rewards do so. Fine if people wan to post it but I see no value in highly rewarding it.
YOUR A DICK
you're?
yes
Disclaimer: I don't think @smooth is a dick. Just helping the Grammar Police to better clarify the error 😀
Lol
How to upvote smooth's upvote?)
Call him a dick with a grammatical error so smooth.... it comes out as a literal dick.
Careful smooth... You're redistributing the rewards to all the posts you didn't vote for...
The context there was declining rewards on your own posts. Why would I downvote myself? All of my posts are great!
You are welcome to join the discussion and not just screenshot it by the way. Good exchange of ideas and people thinking about how to make Steem worth more, and whether directions being taken are the right ones (so far, generally not).
I wouldn't want to impose on your echo chamber / safe space. You're a character I used to have a lot of respect for as a member of the community smooth. I even worried about you and others who got a lot of stick back when the price was higher.
You claim "distribution is more important than quality" if quality is subjective then you go voting for the same content lazily because it's easier to predict that way. Let the people who actually care worry about user retention. You claim "redistribution" when you flag and then complain that the content here doesn't suit your interests and you have to support those who do even if they clearly (just check how few views and comments) clearly don't suit the interests of your userbase.
You're like a Facebook investor who buys shares in Facebook and then complains that everybody writes crap you don't wanna read... Then you complain when the user base drops after you went around using your flag as a weapon to force people to change what they wrote to suit you better.
You can claim subjectivity all you want but your actions cause reactions because of the power of your vote so if you can't open your eyes to the value of something that interests more than 200 readers then watch as this place gets quieter.
What do I know though. I don't know if you care about the interests of others. I can only assume based on how you vote that you don't.
We have all been watching how well your daily choices are building the platform.
My 'daily choices' are very few. I haven't been voting all the much recently but when I do it is always to try to build the platform.
I'm trying to understands your rationale here. Is it your opinion a single post on the trending page for a day or two containing content you don't find valuable (but others do) will actually impacts the future of steemit? One of the draws of steemit is a community rewarding content they value. Your actions communicate it's not what the community values that matters, but what the whales choose to not flag. Is my incentive to become a whale that I can dictate to the community how their post reward distribution opinion is wrong for the future of steemit based on my subjective perseption of value?
That's not very appealing to me. I've defended much of the great work you've done for the platform here, but I'm confused by this action. Maybe I'm missing some larger picture?
One more thing I'll add
Most of the rewards on these posts come from whale (or at least demi-whale) upvotes. Don't fool yourself that it is minnows driving these posts to Trending; it isn't. It works both ways. If someday the stake distribution is different, then that will be different too, but for now it makes no sense to assume whale upvotes are legitimate by default but condemn whale downvotes. It is all a formula that allocates rewards based on a consensus (even if not perfectly uniform agreement) of stakeholders.
Just look at the views on this post!! (They were over 200 before you flagged) It's crazy to assume people didn't really find value in it. It looks to me like you're eager to counter Dans vote maybe because he countered yours? Is this like a retaliation counter vote?
I think there is too much long form content that pays the writers but doesn't help attract users nor invite them to participate in a meaningful way. Yes they may come to read, and that has a degree of value (and I don't see a problem with the long-form posts being posted and attracting search traffic) but when most or all of the money is going out to a few professional or effectively professional writers who repeatedly post long essays nearly every day it becomes a problem of balance. "Content" isn't enough; that only brings search traffic and readers, potentially, if they are interested in the topic (another strike here, in terms of wide appeal). We need to reward the type of content and participation where a wider range users who don't have the time, talent, or interest to write hundreds or thousands of words on a regular basis can and will participate.
Of course as we all know, much is subjective but I think it is time to try to shift the approach a bit. So I am expressing my view here. The status quo is not a roaring success by any means.
A few thoughts and some questions for clarification. It was my understanding that the downvote was to be used for poor quality content. When I saw how much time and effort it appears was put into this post, I admit I was surprised and confused by your choice. Reading through your explanation am I correct in concluding your intention was to put some of the rewards back in the pool to make it possible for more authors to benefit? If so, how much would you say was fair for this post, as in what amount would you have allowed it to make before making the decision to downvote? I'm still new enough that there are many people I've yet to come across, this is the first post I've ever seen by krnl, but again if I understood correctly, you're saying he often writes long essay posts that earn a great deal? As in, if this was not reoccurring you would not have chosen to downvote it?
Also, what type of material would you consider beneficial for increasing the traffic to steemit? (I am working on my pitch for a number of talented/creative friends therefore it's important that I know whether or not they will be well-received)
I'm actually thinking of @nonameslefttouse when posing this next question: You mentioned subjective a couple of times, are you able to be objective about my previous question, i.e. can you recognize what types of material and entertainment would draw a broader audience here whether or not you personally like it?
that makes sense too. I do like and vote for many @krnel's posts. But they do take time to read. hehe
@dreemit
I can't reply to your comment since there is a limit on reply nesting, so I'll comment here
The downvote is to be used however the voter thinks is best. Everyone owns her or her own vote power and there are no "official rules" on such things here.
As you say, when a post is downvoted and the reward is reduced, that goes out to other posts and comments; the reward pool is a fixed amount per day so voting is just all about how to distribute it. Downvoting one post does not mean that post is worthless trash (necessarily; in some cases it could), it means a belief on the part of the voter that the allocation of rewards to that post is excessive.
All of this is subjective. You ask if it weren't a repeated pattern would that make a difference and the answer can only be "maybe". I see plenty of things on the site that I disagree with or look "off" to me, but as a one-time occurrence I often just let it go. When it becomes a pattern of what in my subjective opinion is misallocation of rewards then I am more likely to bother to express that. As others know, I'm certainly not singling out @krnel here, and I'm not saying there is anything inherently wrong with his posts, I just think at least some of the rewards better used elsewhere.
Nesting. Yes, we own our vote power, if you chose to vote on someone simply because you liked them you could do that, or downvote them because you didn't. But for the good of steemit means you would not make flippant choices, correct? I'm not giving you a hard time, I was curious as to your thought process is all. What does Sorry OT mean, haha, you saw some of my finer work right there LOL...I think I could have done better on New Year's eve after the nine percent beer. Poetry and I are at odds for the most part, especially when my brain is tired. Objective was to make a friend laugh, it should be just terrible enough to accomplish that :)
@dreemit
Off Topic, since I was posting on another thread about something unrelated; just so you would see it
I agree
What you're saying is we all need to forget about blogging and support steemsports. Cause it's your fave :p
"Is my incentive to become a whale that I can dictate to the community how their post reward distribution opinion is wrong for the future of steemit based on my subjective perseption of value?"
Yes, actually. (in a a large or small way) For good or bad, this is how Steem was set up. I'd like to see massive improvements to the process, but this is not going away.
Very nice post! Thanks for sharing! 🌼
Great article my friend.. And yes, definitely a next level :)
Seems very similar to Mark Passio's materials.
With a little bit of Kabbalah mixed in.
This is at the basis of the Hegelian Dialectic with which the masonic elites have ruled over us for centuries.
problem - reaction- solution
or thesis - antithesis - synthesis.
