New Record from Steam

in #pubg7 years ago

If you played any game on Steam yesterday anyway, you are part of this record, congratulations. I played it and I know from there. Do you know that there were 7 million people playing with you at that moment? There are even 11 million players who are not even playing games, but who have been linked to Steam, reviewed their pages, or do different things. These numbers are one of the strongest evidence that Steam is an indispensable part of our life.About a year ago Steam's number of concurrent users was around 14 million people a day. The increase in the number of users continued on a regular basis, reaching 15 million in September, 16 million in October, and 17 million in November. The number of players recorded yesterday is over 18.5 million, which means we have increased the number of users by 30% in almost a year. It is not hard to foresee that 20 million users will be available very soon.I'll give you another interesting piece of information. There were 7 million people at the same time, almost half of them playing Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. So I have to add that Steve's PUBG really plays a big role in these records. The number of PUBG's concurrent players has signed a new record yesterday and reached the highest all-time figure of 3.16 million.

SteamDB's concurrent user count graphs are available on the SteamDB link. The graph looks like a complete graph of trigonometric function, the number of players peaking at noon, followed by regular ups and downs.
