A trip to Pula, Croatia
So a whole year has passed since I took this phenomenal trip with my two best friends.
Croatia was somewhere we had always wanted to go but we really just needed somewhere that we could relax, unwind, and most importantly of all enjoy ourselves.
Pula was just the right spot for us, with its clear seas, breathtaking views and deep Roman history.

Our complex benefitted from two fantastic pools and a private beach, as well as being connected to several other hotels which could be accessed by walking down the 'high street' or our preferred method of walking across the rocks
Even the flight was thrilling to see such beautiful views of the mountains

The Roman history of Pula was fascinating to explore and learn about. My favourite monument has got to be Pula Arena, it's still intact today and for such a longstanding fixture it is in immaculate condition. Underground there is a museum explaining all about how the Romans occupied Istria and how the Arena was used.

We stood at the top of the old fort which is now an aquarium, which was very surreal to see! There are many rooms inside that show the history of the fort and there is also a turtle rescue centre! This was especially exciting for me as sea turtles are one of my favourite animals, so I was thrilled to get to see them being rehabilitated and getting the care they need.
Pula is definitely a city that I can highly recommend and I will definitely be going back in the future!

Looks like you had a great time! The picture standing by the water looks so peaceful. Hope lots of happy turtles call it home.
