Crypto market in decline… What do we do now?

in PussFi 🐈2 months ago

Hey PusFi friends, how's it going? Today I'm here with a topic that has more than a few of you on edge, because what's happening in the crypto market is no small matter. We haven't seen anything like this in a while. Bitcoin, which had been holding steady above $100,000 for some time, woke up flirting with $96,000. Solana, which was recently nearing that exciting $250 mark, is now at $140.

And Steem… well, Steem just hit an all-time low that left even the most optimistic person cold. And of course, when the big players falter, the smaller ones simply plummet mercilessly.

This widespread drop has the entire ecosystem on edge. The questions are coming up: "Is this all over?", "Should I get out?", "Should I buy more?", "Should I hold on?", "What if everything crashes?". But let's be honest, that's the crypto market. We've seen it before. And even though the current global context is one of high liquidity and regulations in several countries are more favorable than in previous years, fear doesn't ask questions, it just arrives.

Today I checked the market because I saw that BTC continued to fall yesterday, with hope, but prepared for the worst, and yes, things are bad. But that's precisely when you have to take a deep breath and remember that this is a long-term game. If you're here just for the thrill of the moment, it'll mess with your nerves. The ups are sweet, but the downs... those really test anyone's philosophy of life.

Anyway, I want to pause for a moment and look at this from a more measured perspective. Just like when you're gambling and say, "Well, it didn't happen today, maybe tomorrow," the market works the same way. No asset goes up forever, nor does any asset fall forever. What we're seeing right now is more of a general shake-up, a reminder that no one has absolute control here and that volatility is still the queen of the ecosystem.

What I do feel is that many are falling into something akin to the emotional addiction of checking prices every five minutes. And that, my friends, is exhausting. It's soul-crushing. Because just as you can get hooked on a silly little game, you can also get hooked on constantly "refreshing" your portfolio. And that's where you lose clarity. It's important to set limits, both in games and in investments. Watching the market is fine… being glued to it, not so much.
Honestly, this drop doesn't surprise me that much. It hurts, yes, obviously. But panicking won't help. Even with everything that's happening, I still believe in the future of the ecosystem, precisely because the global trend is toward greater adoption, more favorable regulation, and more liquidity in circulation. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that this moment feels like when you lose by a landslide: you're left looking around, taking deep breaths, trying to understand what happened.

So, if you're feeling anxious, take a breath. This isn't over today. The crypto market is about resilience, patience, and keeping a cool head. And while we're currently seeing numbers that seem to have regressed for years, it's also true that those who understand the long term don't make decisions impulsively.

In the end, like in any game or any challenge in life, what matters isn't how many times the price falls, but how many times you're willing to be here when it rises. And if this ecosystem has proven anything, it's that it always comes back. Always. Now, will all coins rise equally again?, that's something we can't say for sure... we'll just have to wait and see.

Solo queda esperar. Gracias por el comentario.
