Mario 3D puzzle

when I was leaving Osaka airport in Japan I had a little bit of cash left over to spend to get my son a present. As I was browsing the shops at the airport I came across this interesting 3d Mario puzzle.

It's been sitting in my cupboard for a couple of months and my son wanted something to do today so the time was right to see what this was all about.

When I opened the box there was only a plastic bag with 39 pieces and no instructions.

Thinking about it the instructions would have been in Japanese so they would have not been any help to me anyway.

First step was sorting out the pieces and decided to make the face and head first.

Then the shoulders

Then feet and legs

Now the torso was pretty tricky, as the little pieces didn't seem to fit at first but then I finally worked it out

Then voila ... it's a me Mario!!

This was a good way to kill 30min with my son.
Now back to the chaos haha

Your determination to figure out the puzzle without instructions is truly admirable, and I'm curious to know how your son enjoyed the finished product once you finally assembled it. 👍🤔🎉

The puzzle is very nice, I am making a Mario but made of wood, I don't like plastic. greetings
