Is Quantum Computing a Real Threat to Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies

Today I was inspired to start a crucial conversation about quantum computers and cryptocurrency. Apparently, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin won’t stand a chance to quantum computing. According to the article I found here in this video, the owner of the quantum computer will own all of cryptocurrency. I want to see if this is really as big of a threat as these articles are making it out to be. I’ve seen information supporting both sides of the argument, but I also imagine that there are projects already underway to fend off the threat of quantum computing.
