Default Browser Issue - Chrome, Windows 10 - Can Anybody Help?

For some reason my desktop lost my default browser.
I love Chrome!
So when I try to select it again under settings at Default Browser, it just doesn't do anything.
So weird!
I did just install the new version of the Opera browser. I said that I didn't want that to be my default, but it did change to the default anyway. When I tried to change it back to Chrome, that is when all the problems started.
Any suggestions before I start with tech support at Microsoft?

Thanks so much @dogeking, I will check it out now!
I followed the discussion and tried a few things, but I am still stuck @dogeking. They said to use a registry cleaner, so I did. They said this === "I think I solved the problem. Had to select "Choose Default Items by Type" then click on "Select This Program As Default" once I had highlighted Google Chrome. Then my Web Browser was changed from none to Chrome." But I don't know which types to select and my screen looks different than their screen grab. Do you know what I should choose? If you don't, that is fine my friend @dogeking
