The thoughts that embody your mind is what will embody your destination. An achievement in life is never and should never be about the goal, but rather the journey and the amusement of the ride and all her emotions. You must become numb to your greed and forget it, for if you let your wants and needs control you, you will never achieve that final destination. Never think about where your going, but think about the steps to get there. War is never won by ignoring the battles. You must have a new way of seeing, because those long journeys will burden your mind. And your mind will be the first plunder of the journey.
Darkness brews strength, those who tell you other wise, are slaves to the journey. Those who seek pleasure and fun are slaves to the journey. Those who seek nothing but happiness and materialistic goals are slaves to the journey. You will not be a slave to the journey. Seek pleasure in the pain, and breath it. Let it become intertwined with your body. For as time passes by, you will forget it is even there. For then you'll be able to descend deeper into darkness. And amazed all those at your strength they will be! In darkness grows strength.

It doesn't rely upon murkiness and obliviousness. Murkiness comes closer from outside. I feel no light inside me sufficiently solid to oppose it.

You should definitely have included the "philosophy life news" tags instead of just "quote" as I feel this blog post most definitely warrants such labels.
I understand what you are saying but I do not agree totally. One of the main issues I have is that you say dont think about the goal but the steps to reach it.
Well if you dont think about the goal, the destination how would you even know the steps to take to get there ?
Simplest example I can give you is directions from a GPS... if you dont know what address you are going to no matter how many miles you will travel etc you just will not get there.
It sounds good but for some reason for me it does not make sense. You have to have a goal in mind constantly if you want to achieve it. If you dont and you just "take steps" they are all pointless but might be interesting but will always keep you traveling and never get you to your destination because you really dont have one... thanks. Just my 5 cents.
I love to go bike ride on long route. It's better to going on mountains.
