I'm sure you've all seen antenna/towers before. when I looked at these it reminded me of the movie "o, brother where art thou!" when the guy says "we're mass communicating!"

I missed the movie you mentioned in your post. But, without the towers.
We wouldn't have the communications we have now. Our life has surely been changed. And I believe for the better.
