Little Samosa Big Smile

Today in Ramadan I made only few samosa
I was not in mood but my mother said try
I cut potato very slow
Onion made my eyes full of tears
I said this is onion attack in Ramadan
I mixed potato salt red chili and little chaat masala
The smell was so good I tasted little
Then I said astaghfirullah wait for Iftar
When I started folding samosa
One was open
One was too tight
One was looking like baby samosa
I laughed at myself
Before Maghrib we fried them
The oil was making chhh chhh sound
Samosa were turning golden
I felt proudAt Iftar we put them on table
Everyone was tired and hungry
First bite was very hot
But very tasty
Crispy outside soft inside
We all smiled
Small kitchen small effort
But big happiness
Ramadan teaches us
Even simple samosa can make heart happy
