It was encouraged at my last job that I did a LOT of research. Strangely enough it helps to read up on things before I jump in, it helps. I wouldn't say 80% though! Wow - that's a lot :)
Very true mate. Most jobs require a lot of reading. Learning to love it will surely be a big help.
And if you want to be successful like Warren Buffet, 80% of your waking hour spent reading should not be a big deal. Says no one. Haha
