I'm looking for those who've actually used Property Management services. How was your experience? I'm seriously considering putting a couple of properties under management, but I want to understand if they're worth the money.
What I want to know:
Have your expenses decreased, or, conversely, was the commission too high?
Do management companies really free up the owner's time?
Have there been any issues with reporting or lack of transparency?
How do they respond to tenant issues: are they quick or do you have to remind them?
And the most important question: were you satisfied with the results?
I'm interested in honest experience, without advertising or fancy promises. I think this information will be useful to many here, as this topic is relevant to anyone who owns any kind of rental property.
