The housing bubble has started to pop. There have been brutal price drops in Australia in particular but other parts of the world too. Even the Vancouver market has softened. Of course that goes hand in hand with a sputtering economy so those at the lower end of the economic spectrum aren’t seeing a weakening housing market as the key to being able to afford getting a place of their own.
