I think people are down playing this google quantum thing. People are shrugging it off and i think this is dangerous. I also think a hidden hand has begun to sell possibly Craig Wright.
Fair alarm, although not much of a concern really as it comes with narrow use cases. There are also quantum resistant methods available already.
