Round Gourd With Chicken
Hello! My Steemit Friends, Hope you all will be fine and enjoying good health along with your family. My friends I am very happy to share the that you supported my previous recipe of Brinjals which is a blessing for me. I am really thankful to you all. I would share various recipes with you time to time. As my mother and aunt cook delicious food. They are fond of cooking vegetarian and non vegetarian. I am also a good chef but because of my long working hours usually I cook a few time in a week. Anyways, my dear friends as I am fond of vegetables , so that today I am sharing with you another delicious recipe of vegetable. This is also my favourite recipe. My mother cook this recipe with beef or mutton while I am cooking it with chicken. It is really tasty and light to digest. So let us start the recipe. Please try, like and share my recipe.

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1-1/2 KG (Cut into 8 pieces or as you like)
- Ground Gourd 1 KG (Cut into medium size pieces)
- Onion 2 Medium sized (Finely Chopped)
- Tomato 2 Medium sized (Finely Chopped) (I prefer frozen tomato pieces for cooking as it is easy to use)
- Red Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
- Coriander Powder 1 Tablespoon
- Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoon
- Salt 1 Teaspoon
- Oil 1 Cup
- Water 1-1/2 Glass
- Green Chillies 4-5
- Fresh Coriander 1 Small Bunch

(Spices and Frozen Tomatoes ) (Green Chillies) (Heat Oil and Saute Onion)
Garam Masala: (Grind the following ingredients to make "Garam Masala")
- Black Pepper Corns 8-10 Corns 1 Teaspoon
- Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
- Cloves 1 Teaspoon
- Cinnamon Stick 2 Pieces
Recipe:
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and saute onion till it turns to golden brown colour.
- Then add Chicken with garlic paste and saute it for few minutes.
- Now add spices and tomatoes with 1/2 glass water .
- Place the lid on the pan and leave it to simmer.
- When tomatoes become soft and oil starts separting from the mixture then add 1 glass water to let the Chicken tender.
- When chicken becomes soften then add 1/2 glass water and the Gourd pieces to let it simmer for 8-10 Minutes.
- After the Gourd pieces soften, add "Garam Masala".
- Add green chillies, fresh coriander in it and leave it on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
- And serve this delicious veg dish with flat bread or boiled rice.
- Really you will enjoy and feel that the taste is amazing.
