Quesadilla: Recipe

The most usual breakfast from a sandwich with a ham and cheese together with fried eggs has turned to simple, satisfying, convenient in eating.

Ingredients:

  • 5 eggs;
  • 5 tablespoons of milk;
  • 8 slices of ham;
  • 4 tortilla;
  • 4 teaspoons of grain mustard;
  • 1 cup of grated cheese;
  • greens for filing.

Preparation:

  • The main component of the dish is the tortilla. You can buy ready-made cakes in the supermarket or make them yourself using our recipe . Lavash in this case is not good: it is rather thin, it does not tolerate freezing and it easily splits during storage.
  • One of the fillers will be scrambled eggs . To make it, whip the eggs together with a pinch of salt and milk.
  • Pour the mixture on a heated frying pan with vegetable oil. Wait for the edges of the omelet to crack and begin to gently stir it. There should be a mass of approximately this consistency.
  • If desired, grease the base of the cake with a grain of mustard, put eggs, cheese and slices of ham on top. Carefully tuck the edges of the cake to the center, lashing them against each other. Such an unusual technique of folding will allow to close the constituent fillings, saving them during freezing, and also gives an original appearance to the dish.
  • If you decide to freeze quesadillas, wrap each layer of parchment and foil and send it to the freezer. If not, start cooking. Put each cake with a seam down on an oiled and heated frying pan. Once the quesadilla is browned on one side - turn over and wait for the appearance of a golden crust on the other.
