I did kombucha for awhile too, but my husband did not like it. I started brewing kombucha and water kefir at the same time and since we all loved water kefir, I dropped the kombucha. One less thing to babysit.

Tibicos (often called water kefir) is a great probiotic as well, and brews SO much faster haha

What's your favorite homemade flavor? In the "bottling" phase, I love to add apple + cinnamon or just plain old raspberries! I find adding the fruit makes for a better fizz, also an amazing taste.

I've made a LOT of different flavors, many of them kind of crazy. My personal favorite was fresh lemon & garlic juice, most of the people I was working with really liked my salsa-bucha (fresh juice of tomato, onion, garlic, bell pepper, jalapeno, and cilantro), and the other really popular one was blackberry & apple.
