A basic skills workshop for Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) cadres from Gampong Blang was held today in Bali village. The workshop was attended by Posyandu cadres, who play a crucial role in supporting community health services at the village level. The workshop aimed to improve their knowledge and skills so they can provide better services to the community, particularly pregnant women, toddlers, children, and the elderly.

Since morning, the participants had been eagerly attending the various materials presented by the speakers. During this activity, cadres received training on their duties and responsibilities, how to conduct basic examinations, record health data, and the importance of providing health education to the community. Furthermore, participants were given the opportunity to discuss and share experiences regarding the various challenges they face in the field.

The workshop was lively and enthusiastic. The cadres actively asked questions and participated in each session diligently. This activity proved very beneficial because it provided additional insights that could be directly applied in the integrated health service post (Posyandu) in the community.

After the activities at the village hall concluded, the cadres continued their duties by conducting door-to-door visits. This activity aimed to provide direct health services to residents who might not be able to attend the Posyandu. During these visits, cadres conducted simple examinations, collected health data, monitored children's growth and development, and provided information and education on the importance of maintaining family health.

House-to-house visits also serve as a means to strengthen the relationship between cadres and the community. By visiting residents directly, cadres can gain a closer understanding of the community's health status and provide assistance to those in need.

This activity demonstrates the critical role of integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres in supporting community health at the village level. Hopefully, the knowledge gained through this workshop can be effectively implemented and provide significant benefits to residents. With strong collaboration between cadres and the community, it is hoped that the quality of public health will continue to improve in the future.
