BCG Vaccine for My New Born Daughter
Good day!
It's been a month since I posted my last diary about the birth of my third daughter. I have been resting for these past weeks and now I am a bit recovered. I want to share to you the first vaccine she received.
On Feb 11, the midwife texted us through mobile phone about today's BCG vaccine. BCG vaccine is for the immunization from tuberculosis if I am not mistaken. This is very important for the protection of her body from diseases. We went there on the scheduled time 10am with my husband.
There were 10 infants to be vaccinated. For the documentation, the midwife arranged them on the bed then took photos of them. One vial of vaccine needs to be consumed by 10 infants within 4 hours. We waited for 30 minutes to complete the 10 infants.
The midwife is preparing for the vaccination and the parents got ready. There were documents that needs to be signed by each parent. One shot of vaccine per infant in the left arm. We were 2nd on the list.

My daughter cried when the needle touches her skin. But the midwife is gentle and she stopped crying in a while. We were instructed not to put anything after the vaccine. One touch of the needle, one cry of the baby.
We went home with hope of a better health of my daughter. This has been my diary game, enjoy reading!

Hola hola... Qué bueno que lograste ponerle esa vacuna, aquí en mi país hay déficit, gracias a Dios que el mismo día que nadie mi hija, había un operativo en el hospital y se la colocaron.
