My Daughter's Journey to Anti-rabies Vaccine
Dear Diary,
I went to my work in the morning because there was an examination for the pupils. After their examination I went home to get my youngest daughter then we went to the city health center. She was a bit sad maybe because she's not feeling well.
We arrive at 11am. We went to the front desk because we fill out form and the nurse gave us a list on what syringe we are going to buy. They will also ask about the voters certification if we are a voter in the city.
My husband went to the pharmacy and bought the 5pcs syringes cost P 80.00 or (10 STEEM). When he came, we gave the syringes to the assigned personnel.
While waiting for our turn, we bought a pack of biscuit and a bukog juice. We wait for our priority number to be called. Later on, we were called for the skin test first of my daughter is allergic of the vaccine or not. She has a cough and cold. She just got well after a 2-day fever.
After 30 minutes, she was called for the vaccination. My husband assisted her because it hurts to see her crying. The scratches were vaccinated and her left arm. Then we need to wait for another one hour for observation.
She cried a lot. She was scared. I know she's feeling pain. She cried until she felt asleep on her father's arm. In her young age of 3, she experienced this pain while I have never been touch by anti-rabies in my 29 years of existence. There is a waiting area outside where we can stay and wait for the observation. There is fresh air that can freely touches our skin.
At 2:40pm, my daughter called for the observation. Then we went home after. This is a hard time for my daughter. There will be more vaccine schedule for her on the next 3 days. Then, next schedule will follow based on her vaccine card.
We went home with hopes that everything will be fine for our daughter. This has been my diary game today. I am inviting @natz04 and @kyrie123 to write your diary game, too.
Truly yours,
@jes88
