I'm with you 99 % of the time, except I can't get behind the robots as solution to our problems. Yes we are stuck in a system that gives people jobs that are meaningless simply for the reason of giving them jobs. I recently posed the question on social media, "what would you do if you didn't have to make money?" the responses were crazy. One person said they would sit around their house and over eat themselves to death! Part of our social programming extends to not knowing what we would do with our freedom, because all of that has been stripped away too! If robots did everything and we are left to our separation boxes to watch movies and play video games we will just become more neurotic then we already are. neurotic people find new ways to make themselves sick. Lets go back to the jobs that actually sustain our survival and make them community oriented, not in the psycho communist way, but what if everyone had minimal hours on a farm for example. What if teenagers worked on farms for part of the year. They might feel really good about knowing where the food comes from and they contributed to making it happen. While continuing the knowledge of farming to the younger generation and making the back breaking work not so back breaking for just a few people. The bigger point is trying to make survival into connection and not further disconnection that you would get from robots. Also if robots took care of all of our needs, whoever ran or owned those robots would control every aspect of our humanity, kind of like what Monsanto and Bayer are trying to do. You know that saying, "don't bite the hand that feeds you unless its preventing you from feeding yourself?"
