Peaceful Resolution Sought in Mosque Case

in #religion6 years ago

On March 4, Tahnee Gonzales, 32, and Elizabeth Dauenhauer, 51, who described themselves as "patriots," drove to the Tempe Islamic Community Center with two dogs and three children and ridiculed Muslims for nearly 25 minutes.

When they arrived at the mosque, they went through unlocked gates, past a no-trespassing sign into a courtyard, where they took devotional pamphlets from a drawer and posters from a bulletin board. Gonzales narrated, interspersing her account with slurs against Muslims and allegations that they use the Constitution against American citizens. They encouraged the children to help take pamphlets and brochures.

The women were arrested and charged with burglary (which in legal terms refers to entering a premise with intent to commit a felony) and aggravated criminal damage — defacing a place of worship. They also face misdemeanor counts of child endangerment and disorderly conduct.

The incident was noted nationally, amidst a rise in anti-Muslim sentiment.

On July 12, at a routine hearing in Maricopa County Superior Court, attorneys for the women said they were personally negotiating a settlement with Montgomery.

The Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm hopes to broker a peaceful settlement that is a win-win-win for all parties in the case.

Thumbing through the phone book or surfing the internet for legal help is not the best way to select an attorney. Don’t trust your legal problem to an attorney you know nothing about.

The Attorneys on Retainer program at the Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm is an opportunity to both secure a trusted law firm and to avoid paying outrageously high legal fees.

Cheetah, Thanks for catching this. I wish the author had taken the time to write something original for the SteemIt community rather than just cutting and pasting the text from his youtube channel.

The fact that the author didn't take the time to customize the post for SteemIt shows that that author isn't really interested in engaging people on SteemIt. I guess SteemIt is just some sort of aftermarket to increase the payout for the Youtube video.

Even though people have the right to copy and paste text that they've written between web sites doesn't mean that they should.

From an SEO perspective this is suicide. When googlebot finds a site that copies and paste text googlebot treats the source as a potential spammer. The guy not only hurt his reputation on SteemIt. By copying and pasting text he might be hurting the Search Engine position on Google.

Taking the extra minute to write unique text for the steemit post would benefit this channels SEO effort. Copying and pasting the text makes the author look like a spammer who has disdain for SteemIt.

I can't understand why people don't take the extra bit of time to custom the text for the video to engage SteemIt readers.

As usual, there is always some "Mr. Helper" out there.

Happy Thanksgiving! Steem on with patriko!
