Lost Love Letter
Psalm 119:40
33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I
shall keep it unto the end.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law;
yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments;
for therein do I delight.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to
covetousness.
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and
quicken thou me in thy way.
38 Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is
devoted to thy fear.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy
judgments are good.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts:
quicken me in thy righteousness.
While Allen Cook and his daughter Melissa were renovating a house in New Jersey last year, they found a yellowed unopened envelope that had literally fallen between the cracks. It was a love letter dated May 4, 1945, by a woman named Virginia to her husband, Rolf Christoffersen, serving in the Royal Norwegian Navy. The envelope was marked “return to sender.” The letter said, in part, “I love you Rolf, as I love the warm sun.” Allen and Melissa tracked down Rolf, now 96 and a widower, and his son read the letter to him. Virginia’s long-lost love letter reached him at last.
Charles Stanley wrote, “The Bible is God’s love letter to mankind. You may never have thought of it that way; many people tend to think of the Bible as a rule book or a story book. In reality the Bible is a magnificent love letter in which God tells His children how He longs to care for them and bless them, forgive them and shower them with His mercy.” Don’t let God’s love letter to you fall between the cracks.

not only that He loves us, but showing us what He
has done to demonstrate His love. ~ Billy Graham

The bible is really a love letter to we believers and to the world at large. It's not just a dead letter but one that contain a vital or experiential knowledge and embrace of the one that loves us. God by his Spirit has embraced us for all time....
Yes. Christianity is the only religion that celebrates what God has done for us instead of what we can do for God.
Even after writing a heart warming letter through his spirit, He unlike humanly written letter is ever present to give you the experience of the content of his love letter by his ever present Spirit.
In the bible you will find the most beautiful feelings of our father, towards all humanity. God has made the greatest act of love, by giving his son, to pay for the sins of the whole world.
Who could overcome such action?
Thanks for posting.
Amen. very good comment.
Undoubtedly the Bible is the word of God and a complete trajectory of lives that relate about love, that is to say Jesus, who in immense love gave himself for love of us.
The best message we can receive comes from the Bible, in the good and bad moentos she knows how to give advice and the right word for each life.
Strengthens our mind and fills it with the love of God.
Beautiful message @deathlyhorror
