Today I would like to look at 1 John 2 verse 1 to 2
1)I am writing this to you, my children, so that you will not sin; but if anyone does sin, we have someone who pleads with the Father on our behalf — Jesus Christ, the righteous one.
2)And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are forgiven, and not our sins only, but also the sins of everyone.
There is nobody better to plead for us with the Father than Jesus Christ as He already paid the highest price for our sins. We cannot be put on trial again as Jesus has already settled our case. Jesus removed our sins completely, thus it can never be used against us again. He died for the entire world, we must just believe it to be saved.
