The birth name of Buddha was Siddhartha Gautama

Buddha was born as a Prince.As he was a prince he was not allowed to roam in the nearby city without supervision .He was very curious about the meaning of life and why the things work in a certain manner.
He used to sneak out in city.

when he become adult, he left his home in search of peace and the meaning of life
He attained enlightement under the Bodhi Tree in bodh Gaya.
