Wonderful stuff, @jarvie. The fact that she lived a good life and you are at peace with her passing makes all the difference, doesn’t it? As you said, it’s not tragic in comparison with the loss of your friend who has a young family. That doesn’t mean it’s not sad, or that it’s easy to make sense of and cope with the loss of your loved one.
