Like Paul, you can build a strong fellowship with other Christians, sharing, caring, grieving, rejoicing and praying with them. You can gather others around you, just by giving them yourself. 20.33 Paul was satisfied with what he had, in every place, as long as he could do the work of God. Examine your attitudes related to your health and comfort. If you focus more on what you do not have than on what you have, it is time to examine your priorities and put God's work first. 20.34 Paul worked making tents to show that he was free from greed, not to become a millionaire. He stayed and did the same with others who worked with him (he also mentions it in some of his letters, see Phi 4: 11-13 and 1Th 2: 9). 20.35 These words of Jesus do not appear in the Gospels. It is obvious that not all the words of Jesus were written (Joh 21:25).
This saying may have been transmitted orally by the apostles.
